We’ve got another great Hispanic Heritage Month spotlight with @m_spectacular! She’s an awesome creator in the Stereo community with many weekly talks that highlight her culture and how it’s made her who she is today. What is your favorite part of being active in the Stereo community? The accessibility to engage with others from all over the world. There are lots of fun topics to talk about. We all gain understanding from different points of view.
Does your Hispanic Heritage impact the content you create on Stereo, and if so, how? My parents, born and raised in Puerto Rico, decided on raising their children in New York. I love the diversity and maybe it’s due to my bloodline. Culture is more than just the way people practice their traditions, it's completely a way of life communication and values that shape up how we live. Maybe it’s the Spice or the tone of my voice that impacts my listeners (laughs).

What do you hope listeners get out of/take away from your talks? I would love for those who are listeners to have a good time tuning in. Sharing an enjoyable time of laughter is always my drive. I’d like for everyone to feel inspired somehow and want to return to join along next time I’m on.
How do you celebrate your Hispanic heritage year round and/or how can others celebrate it year round? Celebrating heritage throughout the year is a wonderful thing. I play music, sew, do art, dance around and cook together with my daughters. I’d suggest expressing yourself freely and learning to find similarities in other cultures as well!
Why do you feel it's important to celebrate Hispanic Heritage? Providing a space and time every now and then to embrace us spanish-speaking descendants to teach, learn and keep alive our cultural history is beautiful.
What's your favorite part about your Hispanic Heritage? Family gatherings. The joy of salsa Music, the food smells and creations.
What do you love most about Stereo? I love being on this app as a content creator because we as the host have an audience that have the options of tuning for just a listen in as they would a radio station/podcast AND/OR they join along with the interaction feature by leaving comments at real time. This fuels the talks so much more and keeps the engagement of our community.
